Finally, this blog’s very first post... First of all, I’d like to say a very big, big thank you to the multi-talented man, ForestHan, who took the time out to help me create this entire blog. Really appreciate it :) I have always wanted a blog of my own but never got the time or motivation to learn to create it, hehe :p
Here’s an introduction of myself:
People call me MM in short but what does MM really stand for? I’ll leave you to figure out on that, hehe :p I’m a lady full of endless responsibilities. When I am quiet, you know something is wrong or I’m just too tired from talking all day. I may look quiet, stern and serious but looks can be just so deceiving at times. Honestly, I’m extremely talkative and “crazy” only with people I am close to and comfortable with. I can be very shy, but then again, I can be quite brave as well, depending on the situation. Most people classify me as a dead-crazy "workaholic", which I find very true, as I can work from morning till night non-stop at times when I really have to. Just take a good look at my extremely tired eyes. I seriously think I lack years and years of rest.
I’m now in my late 20s. In fact, I sound and look older than my age, probably due to over-working and lack of sleep. Actually, I started working at a very young age. I was really ambitious, told myself that I really want to make full use of my time by taking up few part-time jobs while studying, and earn lots of $$$ to help support my family. Just when my peers are enjoying their life, hanging out with friends and all, I am constantly busy with school and work. I always miss out on all the fun, even till today. Question is, do I have any regrets? Probably a little but that is not important to me at the moment. All I care now is to be able to support my entire family while I still can. And trust me, it’s really hard to save up these days as what I earn is just enough to cover all expenses but I am not giving up :)
I used to have many hobbies when I was younger, like collecting stamps, coins, notes, cards and all sorts of items with sentimental value. My treasures :p My only hobbies right now are photography, food-hunting & trying out new recipes. Music is my life. I enjoy a variety of music, ranging from oldies to current hits. Basically, anything that sounds good :) Just recently, I discovered how much I’ve neglected my TV at home all these years. So, I’m trying my best to use it more often by watching downloaded English movies, Singapore drama series, Survivor and of course, The X factor (US). I enjoy watching others sing and dance :p
